There are many surprising additions to this list. LawnStarter considered the cost of pizza and other factors when ranking cities.

Richmond, Virginia

You should ensure you take advantage of the pizzerias in your area if you are a resident of this Southern town.

Cleveland, Ohio

LawnStarter’s top 10 rankings included two Ohio cities: Cincinnati and Cleveland. Who is New York?

Atlanta, Georgia

Las Vegas, Nevada

Although Las Vegas was ranked seventh in LawnStarter’s rankings, it placed third among the “most visited pizza cities” on Instagram, behind only New York and Chicago. You can’t do worse for Instagram than to eat a slice of pizza.

Louis, Missouri

You’re missing out on thin-crust St. Louis pizza if you don’t have it. LawnStarter noted that St. Louis pizza is more affordable than other types of pizza.

LawnStarter didn’t rank New Haven or Detroit in the top 10, despite having their regional pizza styles. It seems that Pittsburgh has the most pizzerias per capita of any city. You would be surprised at the number of pizzerias in Pittsburgh.

Chicago, Illinois

Deep dish is as famous as New York pizza, but don’t tell Chicagoans they are ranked #2. LawnStarter’s ranking found that 61% of Americans prefer thin-crust pizza. So it’s not surprising that Chicago was not ranked #1.

New York, New York

There is no better place to get pizza than Manhattan, home to numerous wood-fired pizza places and iconic dollar slice shops. The Big Apple is a paradise for pizza lovers.
